I am getting into BW images, this is a recent one.
Am I over-doing the contrast?

Cool.. I would increase the exposure or brightness a tad.

i like the composition of it and the shape of the tower. i just felt like the tower could use a bit of a boost in brightness so it stands out even more, like this

I see you have just changed the tower brightness only, nice touch!

I would still want detail on the white though. Don increase it too much. Increase it just before the white in the middle is about to be blown.

Looks fine to me. It's hard to tell against the white background here though.
