Just looking for someone to tell me what I can do differently

Hi and welcome ot the forum.
First of all I would mind my background. The black material and especially the triangle top left doesn´t fit the flower.
Also that dry piece of wood or stems are distracting rather than adding anything to the photo.
And I would also put the flower a little bit further to the middle. Not in the middle, but sligthly further to the right.
And to be honest: I´d look for a more beautiful flower and a more attractive light - wait for the sun to come out or a flower surrounded by others.
The best photographers know exactly how to showcase their best work and hide the one that is not so attractive. So finding the best image to display is one of the most important things in photography. I am sure you can do better than these. Just photograph a little more and then post the images here for critics once you feel they are your very best work.
There is also a photo critque forum here that might be better than the beginners forum.

What are the filters? Why use filters? What are you trying to accomplish? By "different" do you mean for us to suggest a different filter?

This C&C above covers most of the areas that I see as areas of concern as well. This is not a generallty pleasing image ,but I do get the idea of contrast, the idea of a delicate flower growing in the midst of jagged rocks, and that's a good concept to try to illustrate in a photo.

Most filters will not improve an image too much, but occasionally, one or two of Instagram's filters CAN improve a shot. Hefe is one IG filter I often like.
