Tracks shiney, move your hiney.
Tracks not bright, traffic is light.

For my taste in B&W it needs a bit more contrast, mostly in the mid-tones.

Did you know? On average here in the USA, every 2 hours a train hits a person trespassing on railroad tracks.
People hit by trains while trespassing is a common topic on railfan forums. It's so common incidents of it happening it rarely gets reported beyond local media.
Here is one that recently made the national news - Woman walks into path of freight train while texting is clipped but survives police say Fox News

Nice idea....doesn't quite work for me, but I can't say why. The bridge structure looks interesting, a perspective shot with all those diagonals, in sunlight with some strong shadows might be effective. Wooden sleepers? Cor, we only see those on disused sections. (or in salvage yards)

Not to derail this thread, but she WALKED AROUND THE CROSSING GATES WHILE TEXTING? She didn't hear/feel the train, see the crossing lights, realize she was walking around a crossing gate, anything? How is that possible?

Maybe phones should start putting cameras on the top of the phone so that people can monitor what's happening in front of them on the screen of their phone as they walk. Can't be too careful these days.

I think it's better with the increased clarity/contrast. What if you tried a different crop:

Here is a different perspective. I wish i would have used a lower Fstop but ohh well.... I bumped clarity on bottom. I could not up the clarity to sharp on the train car due to fstop and train moving away....

It is straight on the grid of crop unless you have an extremely good eye

I wonder if it has anything to do with the maintenance worker's union?

FWIW: I have not noticed any concrete ties (sleepers) in the U.S.
