Just moved to Texas. 6 for C&C please

I'm shooting these on a D40 with a 1.8 35mm Prime. There are some low light and resolution limitations of the D40 that are holding these back a bit. I plan on upgrading to the D5100 very soon. Still feel free to critique everything. Composition is my main focus. Thanks for taking a look!

#3 is a bit too much empty space.
#4 is a bit too dark on the right hand side.

The others are very beautiful. I like the contrast in #2 and the lines in #1 especially.

#1 - I like ... I suggest cropping more sky out the shot.
#3 - I would prefer it without the human.
#6 - ... something about it makes me keep looking ... suggest crop of the left side.

Well done, exactly right. Was secretly wondering if anyone would figure out where they were taken.
