I am to new to give real CC but I dislike the lighting effect it creates a 2nd light source in the sky behind the clouds and that to my eye looks off. over all I like the photo however.

I wish the spot light were symmetrical, but I really like it apart from that.

I bet the couple will like it. It's kind of glib and "2000-y". The sun behind their heads really makes their interaction a huge focal point! My prediction is that once their friends see the shot, they will clamor to have similar shots made of themselves.

I agree with ^^^ - I think the couple will really like it! For me the lighting pattern is off - maybe its the symmetrical thing - I don't know for sure. Great concept though.

The first one is an interesting idea, but light source makes it look 2 dimensional. Since light beams from the cloud don't come down directly over head as it's suggesting.
The second one is better, however the exposures on their faces look about a half stop under... If you can bring them back a little, I bet it would look great.
