Just playing around with composition and exposure. I'll take the criticism, THANKS

#1 - I feel the shot is blown by the tall flower in the background, plus it's chopped in half. lol. I didn't even notice it. Subject is too high in the frame for cropping. Mask it out and dead space becomes an issue. I think.
Excuse the watermark if you don't mind.

Personally, I like this because of the composition. But then, it seems to me the focus is a bit off. Part of that is because I used a wide aperture going for an effect.
You can see what I was going for here. Almost, but in my humble opinion : No Cigar.
Again, excuse the watermark. I'm not ever going to do anything with these two shots. I was off in the woods again, looking for something better, but it just doesn't happen everyday.
So when this guy landed near me, I shot him a few times, just because.

Agree about the first. I actually kind of like the second, although the DOF would prevent you from printing/showing it much larger. I think it has a little too much space on the top and right. I hope this guy comes back for you.

I agree. Dead space to the top right in both photos is distracting.
