Did you mask the texture, or use color selection? Just wondering how it's on there so smooth and just on that shade of blue. I haven't messed with textures very much.

Um no. :D I just played with Corel PSP for about 10 years til I figured out some techniques.

For this I just took the texture and set it to overlay. Then I set the opacity to about 70 and erased that layer where she was and where the inside of the hole was.

:)

It would be more convincing if you skewed, or perspective distorted the texture layer.

The reason I asked if you did something different is because it actually looks like it curves into the hole with the surface of the plastic and kind of fades.

Eh... I just used a fuzzy (very) circle to erase and made the edges not so harsh.
