Just started macro photography

I have just started doing macro photography, I'm using a canon 650d, 18-55mm kit lens. I attached close up magnifiers to front of camera. Please have a look at results and let me know what improvements I can make. Thanks Ryan

Get a real macro lens.. or at least tubes for the 18-55. The only decent Macro attachment that fits on front of a lens is the Raynox DCR-150 /250 and one screw on filter that is made by Canon... Amazon.com: Canon 500D 77mm Close Up Lens: Camera & Photo

These are ok for what you shot it with, but they can easily be improved if you want sharpness and detail.

Also, I don't know if there are tubes that work with the 18-55, as it's EF-S. Those are good for close-up filters, but tubes are the way to go, usually with a 50mm f/1.8.
