The image is interesting, but I find there is alot going on with the branches and the BW conversion may not of been the best thing.

Personally, I love black and white when I'm trying to emphasize lines and shapes in an image. You remove all distraction of colour and let the viewer's eye be drawn to the lines.

In an image like this, as there are lines all over the place, my eye gets bombarded with things.

I don't like the center composition of the image, but then again, I'm unsure how else I would of shot it to make the image more interesting.

This would be my definition of nervous bokeh. Reminds me of what I got using the Nikon 50mm f/1.8.
There seems to be a lot of motion blur as well. Not sure I like the red eye.
