In Florida, at our condo. This thing was hilarious to watch. I think it is a young Blue Heron? It just hopped around trying to find something to eat, no patience like the bigger ones. I should have video taped it but didn't think of it until now. Not that I even know how to activate the video on my XT2.
XT2, 80mm macro with TC1.4, f/5.6 @1/200s. ISO 200, +0.7EV. Custom velvia mode. SOOC jpeg that was converted from Raw in camera, then cropped 40% in Gimp. It was a skiddish little thing so I didn't want to get to close and have it hop away. I was hoping the bokeh would have no swirl look to it because the back light was there. I have yet to reproduce a swirly bokeh which is fine by me. @SquarePeg may be interested in this, not sure.
