these are all very good! #2 & 4 are my favorite. i almost missed the spiderweb shot. b&w tones are dead on

The second and third shots take the cake on this end. In these frames I see strong original photographs. I would print them Siver Gel 16x20. Joking of course, but you get my drift.

At this moment in time I am reminded of the varied landscape of Lawrence, Kansas. Meaning: Thanks for spilling the beauty of your neck of the woods and keep 'em comm'n!!

Love the first three.
Even got the spiders webs!
5 is a bit heavy after the ethereal nature of the others - but so what?

Definately. These aren't meant to go together. 2 and 3 were shot on the same day, but all the others came from different shoots.

What ties these together is that previously I couldn't scan the negs acceptably. But since I've been scanning my BW negs as if they were color positives I've been having a lot better results.

#1 is my favorite.

#2 is the shot that everybody takes. At least the location; it's right off the parking area.

#3 has grown on me.

#4 was one of my very first 4x5 shots. Obviously it's cropped. It was taken years ago; all of the others were taken in the last year or so.

#5 is my current favorite portrait of this tree. It's on a short trail I hike at least once a month. I always take a camera, and if nothing else I take some pics of this tree. I think it looks plain at this small size. It needs to be viewed 16x20 or bigger.
