Hey everybody
I know it's been a while since I posted anything here...........been kinda busy lately, lol. But here's a recent shot I can share.
I was walkin' down 5th street in downtown Austin, and I came across this guy playing Jazz/Zydeco on his trumpet, with an open case for money...........and it was immediately clear that he wasn't a Texan, lol. He was obviously an evacuee from New Orleans (this was THAT week) which we have a lot of in Austin, and he was doing the only thing he knew how to make a little cash for the time being. The thing that caught my attention was the emotion in his face. He was literally about to cry while he was playing this song, so I had to capture that feeling, right after droppin' a couple dollars in his case.
