By the way, I have pretty much stopped replying to my own critique threads. It's too easy to get derailed into accusations of arguing with the critiques. I'll answer questions, though.

And, of course, I appreciate all responses. Thank you in advance, and thank you for comments given on previous pictures. I know it takes time and effort, I appreciate all responses positive, negative, or indifferent. Thanks, folks.

I think I see the idea of looking into something and seeing more and seeing more beyond that. Close? I think it is a good idea but maybe the object you used isn't the right one.

I am not seeing real potential just yet. My eye goes directly to the big white patch which looks off balance. Is that white spot a pilot light or a reflection of one?

I've looked at this a few times and my conclusion is this: it could work in a series. I mean, it's not a stand-alone image, but that doesn't mean it won't work within a context. This is probably not very helpful, but it is what I have to offer. I would like to see 3-4 images with this idea next to each other. Some images are more like puzzle pieces. Alone, they don't give you much information, but alongside other pieces, a picture starts to form. So, I say, keep going.

Yes, this is part of a series which is itself part of a larger portfolio. Or at least, that's the plan.
