Do you always use natural lights or do you you use flashes and do you ever exposure compensate? great set I always enjoy seeing shots from you

These are both lit with Natural and artificial light. I balanced with a single 22" white beauty dish, socked. Yes when shooting in certain outdoor light I use Aperture priority with .3 stops EC.

I've been enjoying many of your pictures too, Bill. In this set, I like the first one a lot. The second one, however, is gritty, as you described, but it's the exaggerated unnaturalness of the pose. Glamour and erotic photography is full of unnatural poses - it may even be a requirement - but this one seems a bit too pronounced. Perhaps if her head tilted and looked slightly over her shoulder to her left it would give some reason for the stretch of her leg. Or maybe not.

Here's my C&C:

1. I like the lighting on this one a lot. Minimalist background with no distraction. Her face and hair are lovely. Well done sir.
2. Not as much. Not wild about the pose. For me, it would be much stronger if she extended her left leg so it was straight. We'd then have a strong diagonal line from her left arm to her left leg--always a good, dynamic compositional element. Also, I'm fine with grit (it actually works well given the model's stockings/hose and tats). But it's distracting. Honest--the first think I noticed in picture #2 wasn't the model but the white rectangle in front of her face. And that black stain/circle behind her is also distracting. Gritty is fine for a feel but it shouldn't be distracting.

Number one is nice and like some others have said the pose on 2 is a little much for me, but keep in mind I am not an expert. From what I have seen on your other posts, you do nice work and I like your choices of locations.

I like #1, but #2 I don't like the pose as much.
They are both great shots though!

1st image is just perfect in IMO. I fill the lighting could have been better in the 2nd, may be a darker tone with light coming from the box in the wall.

No feeling either of these poses for this model. These would have been better poses for someone with longer legs like your last model Rachel.
