kids Underwater, C&C please

I took these photos of my kids last summer while having fun at the pool. The second one has been cropped because the little one was 2 years old and could handle only two seconds underwater, so I got myself in the photo accidentally. I would appreciate any C&C and ideas of how to make this kind of photos more interesting.

Thanks StevePPhoto, I was using a Olympus (Stylus 1030sw). I am really new in this area and just bought a canon 60D which I used for the fireworks. My next step is to start learning about programs to edit photos (totally ignorant in this) and looking for a tripod to start experimenting.

Any basic photo editing program should help bring out colours, add contrast, play around with lights & darks. Lightroom or Elements is a good start, I'd say.

Fun pictures of the kids, good job. I do really like the edits, the colors are awesome!
