I finally managed to get out somewhere at the weekend after our First Minister eased lockdown restrictions on some outdoor sports including fishing. So that was me out for a 12hr session. This is the second place we fished.

Thanks stapo, I do like it down that neck of the woods. Just a quick shot from the car park, I need to get down with my proper camera and tripod one evening, there's some nice rock formations and pools on the beach though I'll need to be careful not to get trapped by the tide which rises quickly here. The black rocks you can see in the shot are about 25ft high when you get down there

Beautiful, would love to spend some time there. Is that just outside of Glasgow? Never mind, I see it on a map now. Little bit of a drive for you to get there it appears.

Yeah, a couple of hours away from Glasgow mate. The Rhinns of Galloway can be beautiful with some cracking beaches and cliff walks. It's a popular place during the summer and can get quite busy on nice days. There's a lighthouse nearby and years ago there was a shipwreck on the rocks (though not possible to get to).
