Went for a walk to the Ueno Zoo recently, got a really nice shot of the male lion.

They are HUGE! I dont want to be in the same room with one of these!!

Awww, why not, they're just big kittens, lol. Just throw them some cat nip and they will love you forever.

Great shot, his eyes really get me.

Thanks for the comment. Yeah, the eyes really got to me too.
I went in the afternoon, they were already fed and quite sleepy.
He had just woken up and was looking around when I took the shot. Then he went right back to sleep.
