Kodachrome Moment

It's getting to that time of year I suppose. Nice autumnal array of hues.

I had to revisit my old film archive to check, Ed… maybe have I forgotten
Kodachrome films were looking like that.

The properties of red based Kodachrome films emulsion were cheaper to
produce. Close enough in terms of cost was the blue based Agfa films
emulsion. Much, much later, the green based Fujichrome films emulsion
that swept the market with waaaay punchier, richer colour emulsions…
I remember I was completely sold on them.

This colour rendition here is even well over the green based emulsions.
They give us those nice bright colors
They give us the greens of summers
Makes you think all the world's
a sunny day - Paul Simon

Nice image, Ed.
