I was pleasantly surprised by this film. Virtually no grain, good color saturation but not overwhelming like Ektar 100. I shot this roll at 100 in good light and imagine it would be excellent at 400 on an overcast day. The price is reasonable as well. I will be buying more of it in the future. I still prefer Kodak Portra 400 but this has a good use for general photography. I had this roll processed at the Darkroom lab with enhanced scan. No edits, just resize for posting, using snapseed. These where shot with Nikon F2, Voigtlander 58 1.4, sunny 16. What do you think?

I think they look great. FAR superior than the cell phone pics I print at work. And if printed in a wet darkroom the grain would be very small, a 30x40 print viewed at the right distance would look like a 4x6 in your hand.

Color looks fantastic. Really pleasing color!

I've put a couple of rolls thru my Pentax MX and PZ-1P and pretty much agree with you evaluation. Nice daylight film at a reasonable price; plus you don't have to worry about heat.

Just curious: what’s the edge code on the negs?

The film that made me reconsider Kodak film.

prefers greens and blues oddly. however it just works.
