Yesterday was Koninginnedag. So we went out into the city to party. The weather was hot, the beer was cold and everyone was in a good mood.
1 Typical K-Day outfit.

3 We started off in the Vondelpark near our house around 10 o'clock. My wife wearing orange (just as I), our friend B wearing Adidas. The baby is B's, not ours.

5 At the Jordaan quarter someone is trying to BBQ.

11 And back home around 17:30 at the beginning of our street where our local pizza place owner is traditionally making a smoke screen.
The only thing that spoiled the party (afterwards), was an attack on our royal family in another part of the country. 5 people died because of that. In Amsterdam most people were unaware of this, since we don't usually party reading the newspapers or watching the news.

I heard about the car but I thought it was a crash, didn't realise it was an attack :shock:
