Kooteny Plains

I took these a little while ago but i thought i would post them as an example of the the eastern slopes of the rocky mountains in Alberta. This area is special because it has very mild winters compared to the surrounding areas. This makes it a magnet for wildlife. It also made it a favorite over wintering area for the local aboriginal people
