I can't tell for sure, but it appears to be somewhat blurry.

Good composition.

Don't think it is blurry but appears soft because of the heavy grain..not sure if this was shot on film like an Ilford 3200 or grain was applied as a photoshop/sep application. Either or, neither work for me.

As for it being blurry, I don't really see where it is. But maybe you caught something I didn't.

No grain was added in post, and it was shot with the D5100. I was actually surprised by how much grain was in the picture. I shot it @ ISO 320 for 30 secs.

I'm going to guess and say it was underexposed... I'm too lazy to go install opanda iexif, but I'm guessing with iso320 and 30 seconds that you had a relatively small aperture.

If you search on my name and Night Photography you'll find a thread telling you most of what you need to know to pull night photography off.

That said... this is neat. I think the grain is actually pretty cool, and were it a little less underexposed I think it would make a very cool and almost gothic shot. As it is, it mostly looks like a mistake in exposure I'm afraid.... which I suspect it was.
