Labs At Play ~ A trio of Labrador Retrievers, MAC, SHOOTER, and TRAD are seen from left to right as they frolic in the water to beat the summertime heat and humidity. The cool waters of the river were perfect for a break from arduous gun dog training.

Follow The Leader ~ TRAD leads the way as MAC and SHOOTER follow swimming closely behind. This trio is an example of the only three accepted colors for the breed, those being black, yellow, and chocolate. All three dogs were having a grand time at play in the river.

Stealth Mode ~ TRAD, MAC, and SHOOTER reminded me of Navy Seal recruits in BUDS training whilst swimming in stealth mode.

With all of our serious training behind us early this morning, I granted these gun dog trainees some downtime just to be dogs whilst they enjoyed the water.
