I like the second shot a lot, the ladybug is right on the RoT and the rose draws your eye around the picture. Great composition.

I thought I would like it better without the hot spots, but it doesn't look as natural now, we know lady bugs have shiny shells, I guess.

I like the most recent edit... I'm just not sure if it would look better full black and white (except lady bug) or if it looks better how it is... :/ hmmm..

I think we all agree the second is the better of the two. I would be interested in seeing the whole rose black and white but I beleive that I will end up liking the original better.

I think the B&W with an item singled for color are really interesting but I really like the peach color of the roses interior. Hopefully, there will be a post of the B&W + Color version so we know for sure.
