I like the first one myself. The second one needs something more. I like the sky and water but seems like there should be something more thats not. Maybe if there was a boat there.

+1 for number 1. I like the contrast of blue against orange and the rippling of the receding wave in the foreground.

The centered horizon in #1 makes it look like 2 photos, one right on top of the other, and it has a crunchy feel to it as far as it's sharpness.

I really like the deep depth-of-field, and having the foreground in focus, which is essentially what we would see in real life.
