I think we mentioned that in another one of Mr. Surfer's posts.

I think that a weekend in the Jasper/Banff area...with a bunch of photogs...would be great.

A weekend would be a little tight for time, as there is so much to see and shoot here. My preference would be a week, and if someone can not stay the whole time, they can cut it short.

Between Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Spray Lakes, the Icefields Parkway (Highway 93) and Jasper, we are talking a lot of digital memory cards. That's just the scenery shots, and then there is the wildlife!

Let me know what everybody thinks, and I would be willing to help set it up
for late July or early August. A lot of the back roads are still closed until late June.

I Would be in for a weekend or a week! My wife and I spend alot time up there in our old VW Bus.

During the summer I am busy until at least the end of June, and will probably be wandering the other side of the globe for 3 or 4 weeks, but hopefully sometime next year it will work.

I agree...a week would be much better than a weekend...especially if there is a lot of hiking involved. I would surely be up for a week long trip...as long my wife has no objections. (She's in forestry, so she would be up for a week of camping anytime).

Cyber Surfer, you seem to know the area very well...so any help you can give in setting this up...would be appreciated.

I'm going to start a new thread in the meet-up forum. That way we can collaborate on plans and details, all in one place. July & August is still a long time away...but the earlier we plan...the better.
