if you dont mind me asking, how did you get the sky to have that effect?

I really like your focus on the sky and all its different colouring and thin cloud formations as given by the not-landscape version of the photo. To go "against the rules" was the absolute right thing for you to do.
Lovely reflections on the water and good texture there, too, but the sky is most important and comes out ever so well in this vertical photo.

Thanks everyone. When I noticted the different cloud formation, I decided to photograph it instead of the landscape/water.

Rapala46: What effect does the sky have? That's all natural, no digital. The only digital effects I did was an a overlaying layer.
