I missed the first set... where abouts in the lakes did you go. I will be going up there myslef in a few weeks and need to know the better places

Cheers John.... i went to the great langdale campsite, near langdale peak.. its an awesome area and you must go through there if you are near the west side of the district.

Here's my first post which also contains some more information... if your thinking of doing some hill walking be sure to take all the essentials as its tough going in some areas.

Langdale... i will check it out. Not sure if i fancy camping though so i might opt for a B&B...

as for hiking, i better start getting in shape now, I'm really unfit at the mo
