Larney Wedding - Second Shooter (3/30/2012)

As promised I have more pictures from the wedding. After reviewing them I saw some framing issues that I will need to watch more carefully in the future but over all I thought the end product is starting to look more professional. I contribute a lot of the success to the good advice I have got here on TPF. This was also a great learning experience and a good way to find out the real limitations of my current set up.

Please feel free to share your comments on what you like and critiques on things I could do better for next time.

Yes, a few issues, but overall, it looks like a pretty sound session. Nicely done.

Thanks TI. I wish I has been more careful and repositioned some of the shots better. Some small clipping issues but not anything that I thought these kids would really notice too much. Realized I need a light stand and some better ISO capabilities. Another flash would help too but I'd rather get a better mid range zoom first before that.

Some of the b&w photos seem a bit grayscale, but that might just be my screen.

I really liked the set. only one that really bugged me was the fruit tray. the bit of oof grapes in the front just kept drawing my eye to that location. But its a tray of fruit so not like it's an important shot compared to the whole set. great job.

Maybe a bit. Some the shots outside they had a orange wall in the background and some from inside just had bad yellow lighting. So it was hard to get a good white balance for some. Ill have to practice my editing on the bw more.

The fruit tray was just and extra shot to add in with the food theme. I would have liked to get more pics of the food but it was terribly dark inside the reception hall. Even when the sun was still out it was very dark inside, black ceilings and low lights. But like you said its just a fruit tray so not a shot people are going to spend a great deal of time staring at.
