Laser Show Spectacular In Mountain Vision

If you ever have the chance to experience Stone Mountain Park, just east of Atlanta, then I strongly urge you to do so. They have a choice of resorts to pick from, and an even more amazing list of activities. If you're a photographer, you can spend a couple days clicking away. The culmination of our stay was the multi media light show featuring lights, iconic music, lasers and fireworks. Plus, three flame cannons that shot hugh flame columns nearly one-hundred feet into the air. The screen for the show is the Confederate Memorial Carving into the side of Stone Mountain. The larges high relief carving in the world. While the carving itself is 190 feet by 90 feet, the whole area of the relief is almost 3 acres. At it's deepest point it's 42 feet into the mountain. Except for the first image which was ISO 3200, all the rest were shot at ISO 25600 and had some heavy crops. All of these were hand held at some really slow shutter speeds. Overall I was well pleased with how well the K3 II handled some extremely difficult shooting. Sorry it's picture heavy it was hard to cull. Enjoy, and as always C&C is welcomed.
