As I'm sure plenty of you know, yesterday morning was an annular solar eclipse. It wasn't in totality where I live, but I was still able to catch some of it. I bought some solar viewer glasses from 5 Below for a couple bucks just a couple days before (then later found out the library was giving some away for free -_-) and was going in and out of the house catching glimpses of it. Super cool view!
Anyway, I recently bought a bunch of expired film and decided on a whim to try and take some photos of it on 35mm. I set up my Minolta X-700 on a tripod, attached the shutter release cable, and placed the solar viewing glasses over the telephoto lens to snap a few pics, and they came out semi decent, I think, for being such a last minute operation.
(I know I'm more than likely going to get comments about damaging either my camera, my eyes, or both. Suggestions, comments, concerns, tips, and feedback are all welcome haha)
