Animals tolerate pain far better than us humans ever will simply because they cannot grasp the concept of pain relief / management that we have introduced for ourselves in the form of medicines, therapy, etc. A dog or cat in pain merely accepts it. A human in pain will seek out a doctor, surgery, chiropractor, shaman, medicine man, herb tea, whatever it takes to diminish the pain.

I wonder what the whole story is behind this dog, the video doesn't go into much detail about why it was being euthanized.

The dog had cancer. He wasn't just euthanizing it to get rid of it.

I tear up in anger for irresponsible people who leave their pets to die or abuse them ...just sickening!

I know right. I love animals I just hate seeing abused pets cause the owners are too sorry to take care of them or didn't want them in the first place.
