for the 1st shot i just darkened it some in places and not in others, as usual. I've also found the wonder of using layers to acheive it just the way i want. It's really helpful. I didnt do that on any of these photos though, except for the 4th one. again, thanks!

actually jjrm, the dog shot was taken several days ago, at a friends house. it was a slow shutter speed, since it was dark in the house, so i had to make it pretty small to make it look sharp

Here you are finding a great fan of the fourth photo in the row, and it seems like (for once! ) I am in agreement with Canoncan (pssst! Don't tell him!), who also seems to like that one best.

Mind you, all the others are good, too. You wouldn't know what kind of creepy crawly you captured sitting on that pink flower, would you?
