well, the wife's latest project anyway...

what do you do when you cant afford a semi-formal dress for a certain high school Junior function?
just mention it to my wife, and she will make you one. (No teenager left behind!)
its still in the early stages, but there's enough there for you to get the general idea.
the section at the waist is where she will start sewing in the sections that will make up the skirt portion. From what I can recall, its going to stay sleeveless (with trim), and a zippered back.
