Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
This is from a shoot I did last weekend. Currently I've only been able to edit one photo from the set so far due to other jobs I've had to focus on, but might be able to get a few others done this week.

Shot in all natural light, with a $1 foam board used as a white reflector. 5D MKI (AKA Classic), Canon 85mm f/1.8 attached.
1/200th sec
ISO 800
f/2.5

Really nice, Dan. The pose and crop are wonderful. Really good job with the DOF.

Now that is one very well taken portrait Dan, goes great in mono.

Thank you. Usually I try to use a wider depth of field for portraits this close in, but I didn’t want to push the iso any higher or sacrifice shutter speed.

I like almost everything about it, except the eyes, which seem rather dark. I would love to see more tonal difference/differentiation between the pupil and the iris. Without color, the eyes just seem dark to me, with the pupil and iris merging quite a bit; the catchlight from the under-chin reflector draws a lot of attention to the eyes, and I think this is likely why I'm a bit less-than-satisfied by the way the eyes are rendered.

Thanks for the feedback Derrel.

Love the way the thin DOF works on this shot - how the ears go oof as they fade into the negative space. Her face is wonderfully framed and pops out among the lovely textures and pleasing triangles everywhere. Art.

I was just looking through this section before posting a b&w version of a portrait I took. Not sure I want to after seeing this one.

Nicely done @DanOstergren

Thank you! I'm quite proud of this one myself.

Interestingly captured, off-beat face that makes me want to ask a lot of questions. Someone you'd want to meet. Nicely done.
