Been noticing a lot of low budget/point and shoot rangefinders being called the "poor mans Leica". Just found out about the Fujica GW690 and noticed everyone calling it the "Texas Leica". Does anyone know any other names like that for other cameras?

You mean this? *LOL*
Yeah, I'm not a midget by the way.

It is an unfortunate practice. It is like saying that a Mazda Miata is a poor man's Porsche. Not exactly apropos. By the way the model you mention is a medium format camera. All film Leicas were and are 35mm.

except Mazda put the engine in the correct location and designed a suspension and chassis that keeps the car planted to the pavement.

The real Poor mans Porsche (the 924) had the engine in the potentially correct location, but its no where near as fun to drive not to mention not nearly as nice looking as a classic 911. Id go out on a limb and say that neither the 911 nor the mazda has the engine in the right location, now lets talk 917 engine placement....
