Yeah - lot of that "I can't afford it" going around. In the old film days, it was Hassys and Leica's filling the bill. Guess the more things change, the more they stay the same...….

Yea i like my Panasonic and Nikon and in the end probably end up same results with out the need to sell body parts to afford a Leica but i just don't have the same bragging rights,I can live with that.

Heck with the camera, I'm envious of the diversity of the streets you walk. Last time I was in that area was mid 80's. NY is a fascinating place to visit for a week at a time. LOL

@smoke665 And you know what's funny, I would love to go down south and take a picture of some picturesque babbling brook over looking something or other....I guess we are never satisfied...

@DarkShadow Regarding the Leica, it's solidly built...makes my Fuji feel like a cheap toy & I am sure if I dropped my Nikon it would warrant a repair...I think the Leica M 10-P would keep working, it's built like a tank...

@OldManJim @DarkShadow @Dean_Gretsch @smoke665 Now with that being said I doubt that owning a Leica will make anyone a better photographer. However, is it true of what they say about Leica colours & tones...which is they pop and very distinctive to a "Leica Look?"

Or is that just marketing???

The crush of humanity made me long for peace and quiet after a few days but it was exciting to visit. Lot of good memories.

I can't disagree with that, never held one but i heard when it comes to build quality its a tank.Merry Christmas.
