I currently have a Sony nex-7, but I put a d800 and a couple lenses for it on my amazon wish list not thinking I would ever really get them. My wife knows virtually nothing about photography but knows I love it and just picked a lens and bought it for me for Father's Day. So now I've got a Nikon lens with my Sony.
I've seen adapters that will allow me to use it but my question is 1) will I be able to use the auto focus and other functions where the camera controls the lens, 2) are there any that you would recommend that is well made, and 3) does the adapter change the focal length of the lens or anything since it sits further away from the sensor?
