This rock (the installation is called "Levitating Mass") is my Mount Fuji. I don't know how many photos I've taken of it, but I keep coming back for more and it never goes away. Los Angeles County Museum of Art, May 2020.

I can dig it. I definitely have photos/locations like that. After a time, you sort-of develop a “relationship” with a spot or picture of a spot. I think it’s one of the most special, most magical aspects of photography....imo.

PS..that goes for other art mediums as well. Except for performance art. Performance art is absolutely horrible
