Life Is Fragile

As I was traveling adjacent to a large field this morning, my eyes were captivated by a number of spider webs backlighted by the sunrise due east. The silk strands appeared so delicate as they battled the wind and sagged heavy with the morning dew, ephemeral structures that determine life and death, their radiant beauty will disappear with the continuing ascension of the sun. Life is fragile.

Beautiful shot and commentary. So delicate they are, and even more interesting when you realize they have at least the tensile strength of steel.
