light power source

well im having a photoshoot coming up. this is the first time ill be using soft boxes where there isnt outlets so how do you guys get the power? small generators? but those are quite costly.

Portable power packs.

May I suggest that you try things out before doing the shoot. Results can be unpredictable... such as knowing how long they last, quality of the output, etc...
