Light Trail photos

I'm gonna be where there's a possibility to take some awesome light trail photos tomorrow night. The only problems is it may be behind glass seven stories up. Is it possible to do light trail thur glass?

People here have said that if you put the lens tight to the glass you may get good photos through the glass. I have attempted it on the 26th floor of a building and didn't get great results. Everything was doubled.

Had to take them thur glass, and hand held. try first so I'm kinda happy they even turned out
