C&C is always welcomed and appreciated.

Not so much a C&C, but I do have questions.....

Would love to know what the camera settings are.....please?
Any 'triggers' used? Or was this just a random capture?

Thanks for the comments guys. I was going for how big the storm was but sounds like I missed it. I did do some closer shots stuff too, here is one of those.

Settings on these 2 shots. Both were shot with a Nikon D600, ISO 800 and 10 second exposure. The first one was shot with a 14mm lens at F11. The second was shot at 40mm and F/18.

I set the camera up on a tripod and click lots of shots for the 10 second exposure hoping I get some strikes in there. Go home, delete the majority. This was a good lightening storm and I ended up with about 10 shots to play with.

I liked the big scene, I do think it would have been better if more strokes going in different directions had happened(that would be the BIG photo).

And thanks for the settings too!

I like the second one with the crop much better as you can see more of the detail in the lightning.

I really like the first one! The size of the storm was the first thing a saw!!!

Thanks FITBMX that is what I was going for with that one. I'm going to start another thread with some close up ones.
