which one, LSM? Dry as freaking hell... keep a glass of water around... lol But the info is sound for sure.

For starters, I would prefer suggesting that the person go through lighting 101 and 102 over at strobist before LSM.

Another good book would be "The Master's LIghting Guide to Portrait Photography". Look it up on Amazon.
