Lightning Ahead

A recent storm that I chased. Used my headlights to illuminate the road. Just trying something different.

Liked them when I first saw them, too, I am just sure!

And I still like them! A LOT!

Illuminating the road with the headlights of your car to give the foreground some definition was you best idea ever. You cannot have needed to wait for lightning to come for too long, else (with the camera on bulb-exposure) the road would have been much brighter, wouldn't it? (Excuse my silly asking, I have never ever in my life managed to capture lightning, so I don't REALLY know how you do it).
