Got my first lightning shot on my way to vegas on friday! I'm pretty stoked about it, and although it may not seem like much to some y'all i thoroughly enjoyed it. The only thing im not so sure on is how exactly to crop it? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Dan, nice image - interesting colour. As far as cropping goes, if it was mine, I would crop the bottom part about halfway between the bottom of the image and the "horizon" so as to place the "horizon" approximately on the lower "third" line. I would crop some of the dark area off the left side, maybe just around the "pole" that is sticking up just beyond the end of the lightning flash itself. HTH.

Cheers,

I really Like that! Thanks for the input.

I'd go for B&W, crop some of both the top and the bottom, but none off the sides, and frame it;
