Not sure if this is the right place for this post... I'm working with 30mb raw files from my camera. I want to give clients low resolution discs/flash drives that only allow them to print 5x7's. what is the maximum resolution and quality needed to do this in Lr4? Tia.

Resolution is not file size, it's pixel dimensions.

You cannot control the print size, because there is software that can up-res the image files.

What you can do is limit the pixel dimensions, to say 500 x 700 pixels, which is a 7:5 aspect ratio.
However, your camera likely makes images that have a 3:2 aspect ratio, which would be a 5 x 7.5.

Next you need to consider print resolution, or pixels-per-inch (ppi). Your customers can change the ppi of the digital file.
A 500 x 700 px image set to 100 ppi will print as a 5x7 print.
a 500 x 700 px image set to 200 ppi will be a 2.5 x 3.5 print
