Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I just bought Lightroom 5 for windows. I imported a picture to edit, i have no idea what i'm looking at here? Is this what you folks use to edit your pictures with? I just pressed a button to correct my exposure and my picture looks better! This is neat.

Right now i'm pressing all random buttons,

my clouds have just vanished!

What sorcery is this?

Actually, i have a question about grain in the picture. Is it lightroom 5 that removes grain from pictures? If so, how can i remove that grain? Or is that another program?

"editing" is not the main function of Lightroom. It is a picture management software (sort of database) with postprocessing functionalities, and also some basic editing, but if you want to edit in proper sense, better to go with Photoshop. Maybe version 5 is better than previous ones in editing, but since Adobe is still selling Photoshop, I still suppose is the right tool for that.
Anyway, digital pictures do not have grain - they have digital noise. If you look around, you will find a noise reduction slider (actually, a number of them).

I see it, yes. Thank you.

With Lightroom open, press the F1 key on your keyboard to access Adobe Community Help and Adobe tutorials on how to use Lightroom.

As alluded to, Lighroom's editing function, the Develop module, is just one of 7 LR modules.
Get this book for a more in depth explanation of all 7 of Lightroom 5's modules - The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 Book: The Complete Guide for Photographers

Since Lightroom's Develop module (and Photoshop Camera Raw) is the Adobe Camera Raw parametric image file converter you can think of Raw files edited in LR 5 as a digital negative.
On that basis I recommend this book - The Digital Negative: Raw Image Processing in Lightroom, Camera Raw, and Photoshop

And if you ever want to have high quality prints made from your digital images, I recommend - The Digital Print: Preparing Images in Lightroom and Photoshop for Printing
