Lightroom is going crazy HELP!!

So, I was looking through some old image folders and I suddently noticed that each time I click on a library it auto applys certain settings to each image. I have tried changing the Quick Develope to Default but it keeps doing the same thing. This is ruining a lot of post processing work... Please help. Perhaps I hit a short cut? How do I turn this AUTO apply feature off.

Somewhere in the menu is a button allowing you to set the current settings as the import defaults. I think that is one you need to use.
