Lightroom Question

Guys,

I had a bunch of RAW files saved in folder from 5-13-11. When I originally imported them, they looked fine. I've opened them again in Lightroom and they look terrible (even in Camera RAW). Any idea what setting I might have inadvertently changed to cause this?

It's possible that the .xmp sidecar file got misplaced and what you're seeing is the unedited RAW straight out of the camera.

Did you move the files after importing?

Or is this before you've even done any editing to them?


Does the history sidebar show anything having been done to them?

I can't believe what I did. I deleted the xmp files accidentally and cleared the trash. After reviewing the CR2 files after being imported I (for some reason), deleted the xmp files. Nothing I can do huh?

Well, you still have the RAWs... You might be able to still recover the XMPs - if not, just edit again... Sucks, but what can you do?
